To address the lack of an existing comprehensive resource, faculty of the School of Architecture began the process of developing an internally authored Open Educational Resource, The Production Manual, presenting analog and digital making skills succinctly to students while teaching best practices and workflows to develop good working habits and time management skills.
Topics Covered: Analog and Digital Drawing, Analog and Digital Modeling, Best Practices for Workflows between Analog and Digital Design Techniques, Visualization Techniques including Creating, Editing, and Publishing Digital Design Imagery, Techniques for Documenting Analog and Digital Work, Presenting Work, a Glossary of Commonly Referenced Conceptual and Technical Design Terms, and suggestions of Additional Resources
The zipped folder includes the InDesign document and all linked files used to create The Production Manual.
