In this interview, Rob discusses growing up in Charlottesville, Virginia. He remembers going out to many gay bars in the area and working at Club 216, and how AIDS impacted the Charlottesville community. He discusses how he navigates talking about his sexual orientation at work and with his family, and he shares how he met his previous and current husbands and going through the immigration process with them. He also talks about how Charlottesville has changed since he was a child.
