Abstract:
This essay discusses the long evolutionary journey of Heinz Luegenbiehl and his contribution to engineering ethics.
During the forty years in Heinz taught, wrote, and lectured about engineering ethics, the discipline has undergone tremendous changes. He outlines several of those changes in his essay.
This manuscript was completed by Heinz C. Luegenbiehl on January 7, 2019, before he passed away on March 1, 2020. The manuscript has been edited by Rockwell F. Clancy.
