Abstract:

This presentation describes a novel process for engaging students, from any discipline, in developing a syllabus that is accessible and relevant to them. Participants hear both a faculty and a student perspective about the steps involved and how to apply this approach for any class. Participants leave with the syllabus co-designed by students and faculty, including references used and practical materials that can be directly applied.
